2021 Braintree July 4th Celebration Parade
After its cancelation in 2020 due to Covid-19 crowd restrictions, the organizers of the annual Braintree July 4th Celebration returned in 2021 with a dynamic schedule of events – from the hugely popular morning parade through town, to a festive afternoon fair on the high school fields, to a spectacular nighttime fireworks display.
Again this year, the organizing committee chose a Guerrilla Billboard truck to first lead the parade, and then loop around via back streets for another pass as it followed the last floats and marchers.
With the message A Big Braintree Thank you To Our Sponsors! featured on each side, the billboard ad copy highlighted the many sponsors’ logos and names, sized to reflect their relative financial contributions to underwriting the celebration.
At over 9 feet high by nearly 20 feet wide, the billboard’s thank you message was hard to miss as it slowly passed the crowds lined-up to watch the parade.
