
Following months of unproductive negotiations with a selected group of Boston hotels, leaders with Unite Here Local 26 called for a Strike Vote among the union’s members.
To remind members of their voting options during the 2-day vote, the union deployed a Digital LED mobile billboard truck each day to circulate around the Boston hotels where negotiations had stalled.
Due to the very limited lead time ahead of the scheduled vote and short duration of the ad’s run, an LED style truck was determined to be the quickest option to Go Live in the market, and the most cost effective out-of-home advertising option. Union members subsequently voted to strike within several weeks of the LED billboard truck’s campaign run.
