When Boston area based The Village Bank recently launched eVolve Rewards Banking, its advertising agency turned to Guerrilla Billboards to help promote brand awareness of the new product.
Given the bank’s relatively concentrated branch footprint in several adjacent Boston suburbs, the mobile billboard’s daily routes easily covered commuter stations along the Green Line Trolley and the MBTA Commuter Rail lines, as well as primary roads and commuter corridors in each community.
The billboard truck was also deployed to cruise through many of the busy local neighborhood retail districts, such as Waban, Auburndale, Newtonville, and others, in the communities of Newton, Waltham, and Watertown. Stops were also made at local high schools during soccer matches and Friday Night Football games, and on Saturdays at local youth soccer and football fields.
Coverage also included areas surrounding several nearby colleges and universities, such as Boston College, Brandeis University, Bentley University, Lasell University, and Middlesex Community College, whose faculty and staff are a highly desired part of the local customer base for the bank.
