To promote and amplify awareness of the job openings at its new store along Boston’s busy Newbury Street, TJ Maxx added a mobile billboard truck to its media plan and developed a route that hyper trageted the ad to pedestrians along Newbury Street, Boylston Street, Massachusetts Avenue, and selected other streets in the Back Bay neighborhood.
A secondary benefit of the billboard truck’s prominent graphics: it also alerted shoppers that the store would be opening soon.
